Rapid Response Team Lead

About the role

Competitive Range Solutions is seeking an experienced Rapid Response Team Lead to manage the Enterprise Transport Network Configuration program for the Department of Defense. The role focuses on ensuring network security, reliability, and operational efficiency while coordinating with multi‑contractor government teams.

Key responsibilities

• Baseline and configure all network assets in accordance with DoD engineering standards and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• Validate network configurations against DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) before deployment.
• Coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) or Alternate COR to obtain compliance guidelines.
• Track warranty and licensing information using the Unclassified Government system and provide access to authorized personnel.
• Produce monthly reports on baseline configurations, warranty/licensing status, and asset management.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience as a Lead Project Manager in a DoD IT environment.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, teams, and make decisions under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management or related field.
• PMP certification preferred.

Required skills

• Configuration Management Database (CMDB) administration.
• Network configuration and security management, including DoD STIG compliance.
• Experience with enterprise transport network environments.
