Quality Technician I

About the role

Biomerics is seeking an entry‑level Quality Technician I to support basic quality activities in its medical device manufacturing environment. The role provides hands‑on experience with inspection tools, calibration tracking, and routine quality documentation while working under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update equipment calibration records.
• Assist in scheduling calibrations according to established timelines.
• Generate inspection plans and sheets using provided templates.
• Support document change requests and routine preventive‑maintenance tracking.
• Prepare and upload standard customer quality documentation to designated portals.
• Create inspection documentation, quality alerts, basic reports, and non‑conformance reports under guidance.
• Perform other routine duties in line with established procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than 2 years of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or technical setting (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn visual inspection techniques and GD&T concepts.

Required skills

• Microscope visual inspection.
• Use of precision measurement tools such as comparators, height gauges, or video measurement systems.
• Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
