Quality System/Application Administrator

About the role

Moog’s IT Applications Development Team is seeking a Quality System/Application Administrator to manage and support the TipQA quality software platform. The role ensures the stability, reliability and performance of the TipQA infrastructure while providing functional support to business users.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the TipQA environment, including Oracle database access, application server configuration, ERP interfaces and vendor portal connections.
• Plan and execute software upgrades, patches and new implementations.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support to maintain system availability and performance.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate TipQA with enterprise systems.
• Assist functional subject‑matter experts with application‑related inquiries and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve help‑desk tickets escalated by the Quality Support team.
• Guide end users on effective use of the TipQA application.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum seven years of experience working with quality‑management software.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and proven troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• SQL proficiency.
• Experience with Oracle databases (SQL level, not DBA).
• Knowledge of application server administration.
• Familiarity with ERP system integrations.
• Understanding of vendor portal interfaces.
• Hands‑on experience with TipQA quality software.
• Software upgrade and patch management.
