About the role

The Quality Rated Family Support Call Center Specialist joins the Department of Early Care and Learning to assist families and child‑care providers through the 1‑877‑ALL‑GA‑KIDS line. Working remotely, you will provide information about the Quality Rated (QR) program, conduct database searches and make referrals to quality child‑care options.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and emails from families seeking QR program information and quality child‑care guidance.
• Search the QR database to identify suitable child‑care providers and deliver referrals.
• Provide enhanced referral assistance, including enrollment support.
• Assist the QR Provider Support Help Desk with provider inquiries.
• Refer non‑QR questions to the appropriate DECAL programs.
• Collect and report call‑center metrics such as call volume and referral outcomes.
• Update provider rate and contact information in the DECAL provider database.
• Travel to DECAL headquarters in Atlanta for occasional meetings.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to navigate and search a specialized database.
• Detail‑oriented with accurate data entry capabilities.
• Comfortable working remotely while attending occasional in‑person meetings.
