Quality Manager – Corrugator Plant

About the role

Pratt Industries is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality Department of its Corrugator Plant in Fort Worth, Texas. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement in safety and quality while ensuring cost‑effective production of high‑quality corrugated packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the plant’s Quality Management System and ensure compliance with ISO and food‑safety standards.
• Train staff and implement continuous‑improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, 5S, Lean, and Operational Excellence.
• Analyze quality data, track vendor performance, and resolve customer complaints using root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support safety initiatives through training, job design, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop “right first time” processes and lead plant‑wide and inter‑plant improvement projects.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree in manufacturing, engineering, logistics or related field preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in production or logistics.
• Background in quality system management or corrugated manufacturing leadership.
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 lb, and work in humid, noisy conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using statistical analysis software.
• Knowledge of ISO certification processes.
• Six Sigma Green Belt (desired).
• Food‑safety knowledge (desired).
