About the role

Infosys is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its Manufacturing unit in Baltimore, MD. The role supports the delivery of digital solutions for aerospace, automotive and defense clients, focusing on improving product quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Document business requirements and participate in requirements elicitation.
• Facilitate software design discussions and capture design decisions.
• Develop, code, and integrate new features while maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, manage code repositories, and implement test strategies.
• Analyze test results, coordinate bug fixes, and support production issue resolution.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Experience translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Proactive approach to testing, troubleshooting, and refining applications.
• Comfort working with cross‑functional teams on software integration.
