Quality Engineer

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Quality Engineer to support its Manufacturing unit, which delivers digital solutions for automotive, aerospace, defense and industrial manufacturing clients. The role involves applying quality improvement frameworks and ensuring system compliance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Document business requirements and participate in software design discussions.
• Develop, code, and integrate new features while maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, manage code repositories, and implement test strategies.
• Analyze test results, coordinate bug fixes, and support production issue resolution.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative and communication abilities.
• Experience handling end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirements to implementation.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Hands‑on coding experience with a proactive testing mindset.
• Willingness to work with cross‑functional teams on software integration.
