Quality Engineer – Data Center Infrastructure

About the role

The Quality Engineer ensures product and process quality across manufacturing, assembly, testing, and deployment of data center infrastructure and server hall systems. You will work closely with Manufacturing, Production, Supply Chain, Design Engineering, and Field Operations to drive continuous improvement and compliance with customer and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, inspection processes, and Quality Plans for data center infrastructure manufacturing.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, work instructions, and applicable industry standards.
• Analyze manufacturing and quality performance data (defect trends, NCRs, FPY, KPIs) to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem‑solving using 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, FMEA, etc.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), deviation requests, concession processes, and non‑conformance management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve process capability, product quality, yield, and production efficiency.
• Support design reviews, PFMEA reviews, and process criticality assessments.
• Participate in internal, external, and customer audits to ensure ISO 9001 and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing, assembly, industrial systems, or data‑center infrastructure.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

Required skills

• Quality tools: FMEA, CAPA, NCR management, 8D root‑cause analysis.
• Data analysis of defect trends, FPY, KPIs, and process metrics.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with ISO 9001 compliance and audit processes.
