Quality Director – Lead QMS & Multi‑Site Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Director to lead our company‑wide quality organization across multiple manufacturing sites in North Texas and Phoenix. The role will define and continuously improve the Quality Management System, ensure ISO 9001 compliance, and partner with engineering, production, test and supply‑chain teams to drive defect prevention and first‑pass yield.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Quality organization, overseeing Quality Managers at each site.
• Establish, maintain and enhance the QMS across all facilities.
• Define quality policies, standards and procedures aligned with corporate goals and ISO 9001.
• Set and monitor company‑wide quality KPIs, reporting insights to executive leadership.
• Drive cross‑functional alignment to prevent defects and improve first‑pass yield.
• Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action processes for systemic issues.
• Standardize inspection, audit and reporting methods across sites.
• Oversee customer complaint handling and supplier quality initiatives.
• Train, mentor and develop site Quality Managers.
• Support ISO certification audits and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, including multi‑site or director‑level roles.
• Experience in switchgear or electrical equipment manufacturing is preferred.
