Quality Control Inspector

About the role

BETA Technologies is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure that all aerospace components meet strict design and reliability standards. You will work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, performing inspections, documenting results, and helping to maintain a culture of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections and testing according to work instructions in an aerospace manufacturing setting.
• Interpret technical documents, develop inspection work instructions, and conduct First Article Inspections per AS9102.
• Document findings, enter data into the ERP system, and generate inspection reports.
• Assign traceability to incoming raw material, quarantine, and scrap components as needed.
• Maintain and calibrate measuring equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Use of precision dimensional inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gage blocks.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and ERP software.
• Familiarity with inspection software (e.g., InspectionXpert, NetInspect) is a plus.
