Quality Auditor

About the role

AFL, a specialist in fiber‑optic cable and telecommunications equipment assembly, is looking for a Quality Auditor to ensure that all materials and processes meet the company’s high standards. The role is based at the Laredo, TX facility and offers a stable, full‑time schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform material inspections and release approved items.
• Generate non‑conforming material reports and track corrective actions.
• Provide weekly status updates on quality reports.
• Conduct process audits, document findings, and recommend improvements.
• Release orders for shipment after quality verification.

Required profile

• Education: Quality Technician diploma or incomplete Engineering degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Quality Auditor.
• Languages: Strong verbal and written communication in English and Spanish; English level B2 or higher.
• Eligibility: Mexican candidates must have valid legal authorization to work in the United States.
