Quality Assurance Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant to support our QA team at New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center. The role combines administrative, data‑management and project‑support tasks to help ensure high‑quality client services across our community mental‑health clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the QA team, including agenda preparation and meeting minute taking.
• Assist with project management activities and track QA‑related issues across staff.
• Generate, maintain and analyse data using spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Organise shared folders, manage documentation and follow up on outstanding QA items.
• Prioritise and plan tasks assigned by the QA team and perform additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, business or a related healthcare field.
• Meticulous attention to detail with superior organisational abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication, time‑management and customer‑service skills.
• Flexibility to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to NYPCC’s mission and safeguarding principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
