Quality Analyst - Dynamics CRM

About the role

Abstra, a nearshore tech talent services company, offers a full-time, 100% remote Quality Analyst position focused on the quality delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. The role sits in a Scrum team that customizes CRM forms, fields, views, reports and dashboards, builds validations and workflows, and integrates with other enterprise systems. Working hours follow US Central / Eastern time.

Key responsibilities

• Create scenarios, write and run automated tests, and log defects based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Use Azure DevOps to create scenarios, execute tests and log defects.
• Review and give feedback on the testability of user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work with the Software Development Engineer in Test and Software Engineers on a testing strategy.
• Run functional, cross-browser, exploratory, security, regression, edge-case and integration tests, and support moves to production.
• Take part in all Agile ceremonies and help deliver solutions that follow the architecture strategy, coding standards and organizational policies.

Required profile

• Dynamics CRM experience required; Sales experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• Business experience in the financial or retirement industry.
• Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, presentation and interpersonal skills, with strong organization and problem-solving abilities.

Required skills

• Significant experience creating, maintaining and debugging automated tests with Playwright or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript or another scripting language.
• Understanding of the SDLC, SQL queries and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Agile and exposure to Seismic or similar marketing tools preferred.
