QESH Technician

About the role

Amentum is hiring a QESH Technician in Saipan, Guam, to oversee the collection, processing, review and distribution of information, data and reports for its Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality Management programs, and to manage and archive the supporting electronic libraries. The role also administers the EHS training program for existing and new hires.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, process and review EHS data to track safety, health and environmental metrics and produce standard reports and presentations
• Record injury reports in the OSHA 300 log and prepare the OSHA 300A annual summary
• Develop, edit and present EHS computer-based training programs using Articulate and load them into DI Learn
• Oversee Serious Incident Reports (SIR), reconcile them with OPS EHS incident reports and maintain the EHS and Quality SharePoint library
• Create, review and update SOPs, training materials and forms, and process more than 1,700 documents into a library
• Manage contract mapping, QMS document control and PPIF procedures, and compile monthly quality scorecards
• Perform daily data entry from field inspections and audits, and coordinate EHS training and certifications

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; AA, BS or BA preferred
• 2 to 5 years of experience in an EHS and/or Quality role
• Valid driver's license, US passport and Public Trust US Government clearance (US citizenship required)
• Office environment, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, working under deadlines

Required skills

• Working knowledge of EHS training, metrics, OSHA regulations and EHS reporting
• Database development and maintenance
• MS Office
• ISO 9001 QMS and Six Sigma Greenbelt training a plus
