Python Technical Architect

About the role

Blenderbox is seeking a Python Technical Architect to lead technical product initiatives, primarily for the EnrollWise platform, a SaaS admissions and enrollment solution for public school districts. This full‑time, US‑based remote role involves front‑end and back‑end engineering, code reviews, and technical planning.

Key responsibilities

• Translate complex functional, technical, and business requirements into efficient, scalable software designs.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to assess technical feasibility of design approaches.
• Provide technical oversight from scoping and architecture through hands‑on feature execution.
• Contribute expertise in client meetings and define quality engineering standards.
• Lead internal training and thought leadership on emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• 5+ years of production experience with Python and Django.
• Experience developing SaaS products and building microservices on AWS.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• US citizen or authorized to work in the US.
