Purchasing Intern

About the role

Join FHP Manufacturing, a joint venture of Bosch Group and Carrier Corporation, as a Purchasing Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience supporting purchasing and quality initiatives while collaborating with engineering, materials, and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and coordinating cost‑saving and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Provide data analysis, documentation, and process updates for Purchasing, Quality, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and update cost‑tracking summaries and ensure clear communication with team members.
• Conduct audits of purchase orders, reviewing details and communications.
• Help keep compliance documents current within the purchasing master list.
• Coordinate sample parts with Manufacturing and Engineering teams.
• Support engineering change processes and engineering‑to‑order activities.
• Collaborate with the Materials team on ongoing and upcoming projects.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college/university, pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
