Public Relations Manager

About the role

Temu is seeking a seasoned Public Relations Manager to lead its U.S. communications strategy. The role will shape the brand narrative, manage media relationships, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels for a fast‑growing e‑commerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute U.S. PR strategies aligned with global communications priorities, including brand narrative, messaging, and reputation initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with national, business, and trade media, as well as industry analysts and influencers.
• Create compelling stories and campaigns that convey Temu’s values, mission, and innovations to U.S. audiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging and impactful execution.
• Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Lead localized storytelling that highlights Temu’s value proposition, community impact, and benefits for consumers and sellers.
• Advise leadership and internal teams on messaging, narrative framing, and reputational risk.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or media, preferably within e‑commerce, retail, technology, or consumer sectors.
• Proven track record of media relations with established contacts across major national, business, and trade outlets.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities, adaptable to different audiences and channels.
• Demonstrated success working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, global environment across cultures and time zones.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable communication strategies.
