Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP-BC (Remote, NY State)

About the role

Aptihealth, a health tech company transforming behavioral healthcare, is hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to work remotely. You will join an interdisciplinary care team and use the aptihealth platform and evidence-based approaches to give personalized psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic interviews to assess patient needs and determine medication management
• Provide short- and long-term psychiatric care via telehealth
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers and other team members to support continuity of care
• Deliver patient-centered behavioral healthcare support

Required profile

• Active PMHNP-BC certification and an unrestricted New York State license
• Active DEA registration in New York; candidates must live in New York State
• 3+ years of experience prescribing psychiatric medications as a PMHNP-BC
• Direct clinical experience with patients across the lifespan, including children ages 5+, preferred
• Telehealth experience with psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and medication management preferred
