Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN) – Full-Time

About the role

SYNAPTIC PSYCH is seeking a passionate, dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing mental health team. This full‑time position offers the chance to work in a dynamic outpatient clinic that blends in‑person care with telehealth flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow‑up care.
• Diagnose and treat a range of psychiatric conditions in adults and/or adolescents.
• Prescribe and manage medications according to evidence‑based guidelines.
• Maintain timely, thorough clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in peer review, team meetings, and ongoing education.

Required profile

• Current APRN license or Physician Assistant license (required).
• PMHNP Board Certification or advanced certification in mental health (required).
• Graduate from advanced mental health training.
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑centered mindset.
• Comfort with technology and EMR systems for telehealth delivery.
• Experience in outpatient psychiatric settings is a plus.
