Proposal Manager

About the role

ASI Government is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead the creation of high‑impact, compliant proposals for U.S. Federal and State government opportunities. This remote position, preferably based in the DC Metro area, supports the full business development lifecycle, from capture to award.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, extracting critical requirements and compliance elements.
• Develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and annotated structures.
• Establish, manage, and enforce proposal schedules and milestones.
• Lead strategy meetings to define win themes, discriminators, technical solutions, staffing, past performance, and pricing strategy.
• Tailor proposal templates and provide guidance to writers, reviewers, SMEs, and partners.
• Write, edit, and format proposal sections, including technical, management, and pricing content.

Required profile

• Exceptional written communication and editing skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to orchestrate multiple concurrent RFP responses in a fast‑moving environment.
• US citizenship; able to obtain clearance (Top Secret preferred).
