About the role

Join Davies North America, a leader in insurance and risk‑management services, as a Property & Casualty Claims Representative III. You will independently manage a high‑volume caseload of complex property damage and bodily injury claims arising from transit operations, ensuring timely and compliant resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve automobile liability, property damage, bodily injury, and general liability claims.
• Manage an active caseload of approximately 150–175 claims with typical reserves of $25,000 or greater.
• Analyze coverage, liability, causation, and damages to determine exposure and appropriate resolution strategies.
• Conduct claimant, witness, and insured interviews and review accident reports, medical records, repair estimates, and supporting documentation.
• Establish, maintain, and adjust reserves in line with company and client guidelines.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, vendors, and other parties.
• Identify and escalate complex or high‑exposure claims and coordinate with defense counsel when litigation arises.
• Prepare detailed claim summaries, evaluations, and reports for management and clients.
• Maintain accurate claim file documentation, diary management, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; alternatively a high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience handling complex, high‑severity liability claims, typically valued at $25,000 or more.
• Strong investigative judgment, negotiation abilities, and the capacity to manage a high‑volume caseload.
