Project Manager – Water

About the role

Garver is seeking an experienced water industry professional to lead and deliver water and wastewater projects for its Kansas/Missouri portfolio. The Project Manager will work from the Overland Park or Kansas City office, collaborating with clients, internal teams, and industry partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage projects involving water conveyance, distribution, pump stations, storage facilities, and wastewater lift stations.
• Develop master plans for water, wastewater, and reuse systems, including treatment facilities and infrastructure.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, regulatory agencies, and quality assurance/quality control processes.
• Maintain project budgets, schedules, scope, and detailed project accounting.
• Prepare and deliver client reports, QA/QC plans, and construction administration documents.
• Participate in client meetings, industry conferences, and occasional travel as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years of technical project management experience in water or wastewater engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong client‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
