Project Manager – Remote 12‑month contract

About the role

Airswift is seeking a Project Manager to support a major client on a 12‑month remote contract. The role involves overseeing a technically complex development project within a major capital‑project environment, coordinating multiple specialist functions and stakeholder groups.

Key responsibilities

• Own the project scope, work breakdown structure, schedule, and economic model.
• Coordinate workstreams in line with the Stage Gate Framework for project progression.
• Track project progress and prepare regular stakeholder reports.
• Drive procurement and contracting activities with internal functions and external vendors.
• Ensure scopes and deliverables meet project specifications.
• Maintain the risk register and facilitate regular risk reviews and workshops.
• Lead change management on scope and objectives.
• Chair regular progress and issue meetings with internal teams and contractors.
• Own the project dashboard for internal and external parties.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of progressive project management experience in offshore energy, mining, or marine sectors.
• Proven experience in technically complex major capital‑project environments.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Relevant degree in engineering, sciences, or a related discipline.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred (not required).
