Project Manager – Packaged Pump Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to join AGI Industries' Packaged Pump Systems division in Lafayette, LA. The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and executing projects that transform customer orders into finished pump, vapor recovery, and compression systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Estimating Department as needed and ensure alignment between purchase orders, project specifications, and quotes.
• Coordinate project kickoff meetings with clients to review specifications, QA/QC procedures, and schedules.
• Compile and distribute preliminary documentation to internal teams to initiate projects.
• Submit drawings and documentation to customers, manage revisions, and obtain approvals.
• Initiate purchase orders for components and materials, verify vendor delivery commitments, and expedite orders as required.
• Lead fabrication kickoff meetings, align scope of supply with production schedules, and coordinate subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and communicate status to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management within industrial manufacturing or fluid‑handling environments.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities to work across multiple departments.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, vendor coordination, and project documentation.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and customer expectations.
