Project Manager – Multi-Function Contract

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Project Manager for a multi-function contract involving facility management, engineering, vehicle maintenance and mission-support functions, with annual revenue of $120M to $175M. The PM oversees all work and contract matters, acts as the central point of contact with the Government and is available within 1 hour to meet Government personnel on site. The position is pending contract award and is located in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee port operations, facilities support, utilities, electrical, transportation and other areas defined in the PWS / SOW, including scheduling, supervision, quality control and equipment maintenance and repair
• Monitor cost control, financial reports, budgeting and operating costs, and recommend procedures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Ensure adherence to company policies and government regulations, and manage subcontractors directly
• Be available within 1 hour to meet Government personnel on the installation as required

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration / Management, from a US or UK accredited institution or equivalent
• Five years of experience managing a workforce and delivering services on contracts of similar size and complexity, mostly as a P&L responsible manager or director leading 600-1,000 employees
• Experience directing a unionized workforce and previous supervisory experience in an OCONUS environment
• Active Secret US Government clearance (US citizenship required to maintain it) and valid US or local driver's license and US passport
• Ability to pass medical requirements and work in tropical island conditions, 6 days a week and 12 hours a day, including heavy lifting and outdoor work
