Project Manager - Luxury Custom Homes

About the role

A South Florida luxury custom home builder with more than 25 years of experience and over 6,000 homes delivered is seeking an experienced Project Manager. The role is based in the Jupiter area and covers 2 to 4 luxury custom homes at a time, from preconstruction through final handover. The manager works closely with homeowners, architects, designers, consultants, subcontractors, Superintendents and internal teams to keep projects organized, financially controlled, on schedule and built to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 2 to 4 luxury custom homes from preconstruction through completion
• Own project budgets, schedules, procurement, contracts, change orders and cost forecasting
• Coordinate architects, designers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and internal teams
• Serve as primary point of contact for homeowners and design professionals
• Lead project, OAC and subcontractor meetings and partner with Superintendents on field operations
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and workmanship
• Manage RFIs, submittals, inspections, documentation and deliverables
• Identify risks, delays and scope issues early and develop solutions
• Participate in estimating, budgeting and buyout during preconstruction

Required profile

• 7+ years of progressive construction experience, including 5+ years in project management or project leadership
• Proven experience managing luxury custom homes or high-end residential construction
• Experience managing multiple complex, ground-up residential projects
• Strong subcontractor and trade partner management experience
• Excellent communication with homeowners, architects, designers and consultants
• Understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods
• Working knowledge of Florida building codes, permitting and South Florida construction practices
• Must live within about one hour of Palm Beach Gardens
