Project Manager – Logistics & Material Handling

About the role

Dematic is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, high‑value projects across the United States. The role involves coordinating internal and external teams, managing scope, schedule and budget, and travelling up to 50 % of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage project risks, creating mitigation plans.
• Develop detailed project schedules covering engineering, installation and integration activities.
• Analyze profitability forecasts, ensure accurate invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Provide project‑management expertise to pre‑sales efforts, including business case development and high‑level proposals.
• Apply systems‑engineering principles throughout project execution and solution design.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of experience in the material‑handling or logistics industry.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication abilities.
• Proven leadership and facilitation skills in multi‑disciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
