Project Manager – HVAC/Mechanical Construction

About the role

We are a well‑established mechanical construction contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead HVAC and mechanical construction projects from planning through completion. You will be responsible for coordinating schedules, budgets, safety, procurement, documentation, and client relationships to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HVAC/mechanical construction projects through all phases, from design to close‑out.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Support site safety compliance and quality‑control initiatives.
• Develop work plans, track schedules, and allocate labor resources.
• Oversee procurement, equipment tracking, and vendor coordination.
• Monitor project costs, billings, labor productivity, and prepare financial reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Assist business development and identify future project opportunities.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in a technical field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 5+ years of construction project management experience in the building industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical/HVAC systems and construction documentation.
• Experience with estimating software, CAD, and project‑management tools such as Procore, MS Project, and SharePoint.
• PMP, OSHA 30, or LEED credentials are a plus.
