Project Manager – Healthcare Construction

About the role

JRM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead healthcare construction projects. The role serves as the primary liaison between clients, design teams, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for clients and coordinate all project stakeholders throughout every phase.
• Manage project administration, including document control, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and close‑out documentation.
• Prepare, review, and track budgets, forecasts, and cost reports in partnership with senior leadership and accounting.
• Oversee financial controls such as change orders, billing, receivables, lien releases, and subcontractor payments.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule in collaboration with the Superintendent.
• Partner with field staff to coordinate daily construction activities, monitor quality, and mitigate delays.
• Identify and manage project risks, delays, and claims, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
• Support senior management on project strategy, staffing, and high‑level decision making.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction projects up to approximately $10 M, or serving as lead PM on larger projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with all project stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple concurrent projects.
• Commitment to compliance with contract requirements, company policies, and safety standards.
