Project Manager – Data Science & AI Engineering

About the role

MassMutual is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of AI and data‑science initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists, AI engineers and product managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and generate measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AI and data‑science projects from planning through implementation, coordinating timelines, budgets and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as scrums, sprint planning and retrospectives, driving accountability across technical and non‑technical teams.
• Translate technical concepts into clear project requirements and help stakeholders understand AI possibilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in a technical field and 2+ years managing technical projects in Agile environments.
• 2+ years experience managing data‑science or AI projects.
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication abilities; comfortable influencing without authority.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project‑management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Solid understanding of Agile frameworks and ceremonies.
