Project Manager – Commercial & Light Industrial Construction

About the role
We are a nationally recognized Top ENR contractor operating throughout Wisconsin, seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial and light‑industrial construction projects. You will oversee each project from pre‑construction through closeout, ensuring delivery on budget, schedule, safety, and client expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead all phases of project management from award to completion.
- Develop and control budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement.
- Coordinate with field leadership, self‑perform crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance, forecast costs, and manage change orders.
- Facilitate communication among owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Identify and mitigate risks while maintaining schedule and budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Mentor project engineers and other team members.
- Participate in pre‑construction planning and estimating.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience.
- Proven experience managing commercial, manufacturing, industrial, or light‑industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Experience with self‑perform construction operations is highly preferred.
Required skills
- Proficiency with construction management software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
