Project Manager – Building Automation Systems

About the role

Optimum Energy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of legacy product and service implementations. You will work closely with the engineering team to optimise Building Automation System (BAS) controls and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end customer implementations, from kickoff to post‑sale support.
• Monitor project progress, track cost/schedule/resource variances, and report status in NetSuite.
• Coordinate resources, conduct planning and status meetings, and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, and communicate major changes to finance.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, forecasts, and revenue reporting in NetSuite.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in HVAC, energy, or BAS controls.
• Proven ability to deliver complex engineering projects on schedule and budget.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Required skills

• NetSuite (or similar ERP) – minimum 1 year.
• Project scheduling tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Procore.
