Project Manager – AWS Data Center Equipment Qualification (Contract)

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services is seeking a contract Project Manager to lead equipment qualification programs for its global data‑center portfolio. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure power and cooling systems meet the highest safety, reliability, and cost‑efficiency standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage scalable data‑center qualification programs across multiple regions.
• Oversee testing of power and cooling equipment, coordinating with material suppliers and the commissioning team.
• Execute full equipment qualification processes, including submittal reviews, test protocol execution, prototype evaluation, and documentation.
• Maintain systematic tracking of qualification metrics, ensuring data accuracy and timely status updates.
• Lead cross‑functional coordination among architectural, electrical, mechanical, and control disciplines, as well as vendors and tier‑2 suppliers.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex technical projects in a data‑center or infrastructure environment.
• Strong ability to collaborate with diverse engineering and supply‑chain teams.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills to meet compliance and quality standards.
