Project Manager 2

About the role

The Department of Medicine at UHealth is seeking a full‑time Project Manager 2 to support on‑site initiatives that advance institutional healthcare goals. In this role you will coordinate multi‑unit projects, oversee planning and implementation, and ensure successful delivery of research and operational programs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver reports on project status, costs, and activities.
• Define project scope with leadership and establish measurable objectives.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Review and adjust project schedules in collaboration with affected staff.
• Monitor progress, make adjustments, and ensure timely completion.
• Orient and manage project personnel according to university policies.
• Document all project activities, maintain secure files, and create communication schedules for stakeholders.
• Prepare presentations and status reports for leadership.
• Collaborate with the ID Research Unit Principal Investigator and Project Directors on administrative components of multisite and single‑site research studies.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, and action items for research team meetings and committees.
• Develop presentations summarizing study progress and operational benchmarks.
• Streamline workflow processes to ensure timely study execution and serve as liaison between investigators and regulatory personnel.

Required profile

• Proven ability to define project scope and objectives with senior leadership.
• Experience reviewing and managing project schedules and resources.
• Strong capability to monitor project progress and implement adjustments.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills for stakeholder updates.
• Experience supporting research administration and coordinating multisite studies.
