Project Manager 1 – SCCC (Hybrid)

About the role

The Department of Utilization Management at the University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Project Manager 1 to support SCCC initiatives. This hybrid position blends on‑site collaboration in Miami with remote work, focusing on planning, execution, and tracking of small to moderately complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, documentation, and meeting logistics.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and task lists; adjust schedules as needed.
• Monitor progress, track tasks, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Support workflow documentation, identify process gaps, and coordinate resource availability.
• Review deliverables for quality, compliance, and maintain organized project records.
• Communicate regular updates and prepare basic status reports for leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to work under guidance of senior staff and follow university policies.
