Project Execution Manager

About the role

Competitive Range Solutions seeks an experienced Project Execution Manager to lead the executive support group for DoD IT infrastructure and network architecture projects. The role involves managing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) from development through closeout while ensuring compliance with government security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate documentation of network requirements in a government ticketing system and determine whether they constitute MACs or ECPs.
• Develop, track, and close out approximately 800 ECPs annually, including design, build, testing, and migration.
• Prepare and maintain Project Management Plans, Integrated Master Schedules, and Work Breakdown Structures with associated cost estimates.
• Coordinate with DoD customers and multi-contractor teams to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance inspections.
• Produce monthly status reports and archive all ECP documentation.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• 5+ years as a lead project manager in a DoD IT environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business management, or related field (master’s preferred).
• Proven managerial, leadership, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience preparing detailed cost estimate reports.
• Knowledge of PMP methodology and related project management tools.
