About the role
Moog is seeking a Project Engineer to lead technical activities for its Military Aircraft Group, supporting a global fleet of military aircraft. The role combines systems engineering, cybersecurity, and product knowledge to sustain and grow current and future program installations.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage full program technical aspects, including linear hydraulic flight controls and high‑lift systems.
- Lead customer technical discussions on capabilities, status, and schedule, and develop technical requirement documents.
- Support program management with technical requirement prioritization, planning, and risk mitigation.
- Serve as primary technical liaison across Moog functions, suppliers, and customers, communicating status, risks, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Field Service, Lab) for troubleshooting, testing, and sustainment activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of technical project management experience in aerospace, automotive, or test‑equipment sectors.
- Proven experience in subcontract management, requirements management, and verification/validation methods.
- Strong background in cost, schedule, and scope management with familiarity with EVMS fundamentals.
- Willingness to travel 5‑10% of the time.
