Project Engineer – Manufacturing Solutions

About the role

Seco, a global provider of metal cutting and machining solutions, is seeking a Project Engineer to develop and deliver end‑to‑end manufacturing solutions from concept through industrialisation. You will combine machining expertise, digital engineering tools, and project leadership to create measurable value for customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end manufacturing projects from concept to implementation, ensuring delivery on scope, quality, timeline and cost.
• Translate customer needs into practical machining, tooling and execution strategies.
• Use CAD/CAM and simulation tools to optimise processes, proposals, validation and project documentation.
• Provide technical direction on tool design, programming, process optimisation and digital solution validation.
• Coordinate sales, engineering, customer support and technical specialists to achieve shared project goals.
• Coach colleagues and share expertise to strengthen team capability.
• Build trusted customer relationships and develop tailored tooling and machining solutions.
• Track performance, balance priorities, resources and risks across multiple projects.

Required profile

• Engineering background with experience in manufacturing, machining and tooling.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Strong customer focus and ability to translate needs into technical solutions.
