Project Engineer – End-to-End Manufacturing Solutions

About the role

Seco, a global provider of metal cutting and machining solutions, is seeking a Project Engineer to design and deliver end‑to‑end manufacturing solutions. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from concept through industrialisation, partnering with customers, sales, and internal experts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical projects from concept to implementation, ensuring scope, quality, timeline, and cost targets are met.
• Analyse manufacturing processes and define machining and tooling strategies.
• Use CAD/CAM and simulation tools to optimise process designs, proposals, and validation documentation.
• Provide technical direction on tool design, programming, and digital solution validation.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including sales, engineering, and customer support.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, translating needs into practical solutions.
• Support proposal development, project governance, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong background in machining, tooling, and manufacturing engineering.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills for customer engagement and internal collaboration.
• Experience working in a global, innovation‑driven environment.
