Project Coordinator

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Miami Transplant Institute is seeking a full‑time Project Coordinator to organize and support project activities across its cardiac programs. The role ensures projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet documentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in assigning tasks to internal teams and manage project schedules.
• Prepare budgets, track expenditures, and monitor financial compliance.
• Monitor project progress, identify shortfalls, and address issues promptly.
• Serve as primary point of contact, communicating status updates and timeline changes to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
• Organize, attend, and participate in project meetings; prepare presentations and record minutes.
• Coordinate administrative logistics for the Heart program, including meeting rooms, conference calls, and filing.
• Liaise with the Advanced Heart Failure, LVAD, and Heart Transplant programs, as well as Business Development and Jackson Medical Group.
• Support the planning of the annual Jackson Heart Institute and Miami Transplant Institute Clinical Cardiac Symposium.

• Experience coordinating meetings, documentation, and logistical support.
• Familiarity with healthcare or medical project environments is preferred.
