Project Coordinator (Graduate)

About the role

Amentum's Telecommunications Group, which designs, builds and maintains datacenter facilities, is looking for a Project Coordinator (graduate) to support the flawless execution of team initiatives across the US. The role covers financial project activity, project planning and reporting, and liaison with accountants and procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, process and review all financial project activity, ensure compliance with procurement policies and reconcile data in the financial reporting system
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to create and administer project plans, reports and schedules
• Data entry, review and processing of project forms and deliverable documents
• Maintain project trackers and third-party tracking databases, and help collect, validate and update data in internal and third-party systems
• Liaise between National Project Accountants and Procurement, and act as the point of contact communicating project status to the team
• Analyze data, create action items for team members, and prepare project reports for project staff
• Work with Accounting, Purchasing and Accounts Payable on process improvements, and handle other duties and special projects as assigned

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a similar program, graduated in 2023 or later from a 2-year+ program
• Eligible to work for any US employer without visa sponsorship, now or in the future
• Detail-oriented, well organized, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Quick learner who can identify department functions, processes and procedures on their own
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Required skills

• Highly proficient in MS Excel
• MS Access and/or VBA skills are desirable but not required
