Project Controls Specialist

About the role

Amentum, a teammate company of NASA's largest engineering solutions provider, is hiring a Project Controls Specialist through its HX5 team. The specialist supports project managers and teams in organizational and scheduling work, strategic communication and system access requests, within an office environment that may involve inside or outside work.

Key responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of business systems to help achieve project goals
• Assist project managers with organizational and scheduling duties with internal and external partners
• Assist project managers with strategic communication
• Help team members with system access requirements and requests
• Perform other duties as required

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited school
• Typically 15 years of project experience in project controls
• Ability to organize, coordinate and host meetings of varying sizes
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team of NASA civil servants and contractors
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency may be required, and completion of a U.S. government background investigation

Required skills

• Experience creating and curating MS SharePoint sites
• Proficiency with MS Office tools
