Project Controls Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead planning, scheduling, cost management, and performance monitoring for the SR 400 Express Lanes construction project in Atlanta, Georgia. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage Project Controls policies and procedures across the project.
• Develop integrated cost and schedule reports and monitor performance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate schedule and cost control risks.
• Provide regular schedule and cost performance updates to project and executive teams.
• Lead and coordinate Project Controls staff to deliver accurate status reports.
• Conduct trend analysis and develop delay recovery plans.
• Oversee schedule and control teams, ensuring early problem identification.
• Advise senior leadership on Project Controls strategy and execution.
• Deliver start‑up services on‑site while establishing control systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing schedules on complex civil engineering projects.
• Strong background in cost management.
• Ability to present complex data clearly and communicate effectively at executive level.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
