Project Controls Analyst - Estimating and Scheduling

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Project Controls Analyst focused on estimating and scheduling. The role supports customers with scheduling, cost accounting and estimating, oversees the work of others and leads interactive planning, scheduling and estimating sessions with a larger team.

Required profile

• Master's degree in business, construction management, technical or engineering or a related area and 2 years of practical experience; a bachelor's degree and 5 years, or an associate degree and 8 years, or a high school diploma and 12 years of relevant experience are considered equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and considerable proficiency in automated accounting, budgeting, cost management and estimating systems.
• Working knowledge of project management, cost and schedule control at the tactical level, and of operations, maintenance, project startup and construction.
• Demonstrated skill in conceptual estimating, coordinating with technical personnel and engineers, and knowledge of field construction techniques, labor and equipment requirements.
• Ability to quantify how work conditions affect costs.
• Preferred: ability to apply Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to moderately complex plans and schedules under limited supervision, and an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two years.
