Project Architect – High-End Residential Design

About the role
Beau Clowney Architects is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our collaborative studio in downtown Charleston. You will work on high‑end residential, selective commercial, and development projects, delivering thoughtful and timeless designs for regional and international clients.
Key responsibilities
- Lead design development from concept through construction documentation.
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Prepare thorough construction documents and coordinate building systems.
- Present design solutions at owner meetings and review board sessions.
- Mentor junior staff and manage project workflows.
Required profile
- Accredited degree in Architecture (BS, B.Arch, or M.Arch).
- Professional architectural licensure is an asset.
- Proven experience as a project architect with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Vectorworks for drawing and modeling.
