Project Accountant

About the role

BSC is looking for a Project Accountant to join its Finance & Accounting team. In this role you will manage the financial side of projects, ensuring budgets, invoicing, and reporting are accurate and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cash‑flow statements.
• Track project expenditures, revenues and analyze variances.
• Manage the full billing cycle: generate invoices, collect payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Process and verify project invoices and payments.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, internal policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with project set‑up, changes, close‑outs and final settlements.
• Coordinate financial matters with project managers, clients, sub‑consultants and vendors.
• Perform project audits, reconciliations and prepare financial reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional ethics, respect and fairness in dealing with team members and clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software; experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus.
