About the role
We are hosting an in‑person hiring event for progressive‑care registered nurses at UHealth Hospital. Candidates will interview on May 15, 2026 and, if selected, join a multidisciplinary team delivering patient‑family centered critical care in a culturally competent environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in progressive and critical care units, following evidence‑based protocols.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians and allied health professionals.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and promote a supportive healing environment.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred (ASN graduates must complete BSN within two years).
- Active Registered Nurse license in Florida.
- Minimum two years of acute‑care nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
