Programme Management Officer

About the role

The Programme Management Officer will join the Peacebuilding Impact Hub team within the Office of the Assistant Secretary‑General for Peacebuilding and Peace Support. Reporting to the Impact Hub team leader, the incumbent will support the design, implementation and evaluation of the Peacebuilding Data Platform and related evidence‑generation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Impact Hub’s Peacebuilding Data Platform.
• Monitor and analyse platform progress, review relevant documents and reports, and propose corrective actions.
• Conduct consulting and user‑testing assignments, including planning and facilitating workshops with target audiences and partners.
• Research, analyse and present information gathered from diverse sources to inform policy development.
• Assist in policy development by reviewing trends related to peacebuilding impact and preparing evaluations or research studies.
• Coordinate evidence‑generation activities such as “Impact Spotlight” exercises, liaising with headquarters teams, country partners and research organisations.
• Undertake survey initiatives, design data‑collection tools, analyse responses, identify issues and prepare conclusions.

Required profile

• Experience in data analysis, research and policy development within a peacebuilding or international development context.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi‑stakeholder activities and manage evidence‑generation processes.
• Strong analytical skills and capacity to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
