Programme Consultant – Rapid Response Window

About the role

The Programme Consultant will support the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) Secretariat in delivering the Rapid Response Window (RRW) on Women’s Participation in Peace Processes. Working under the Head of the Secretariat and the Programme Coordinator, the consultant will help ensure high‑quality monitoring, reporting, knowledge management and strategic coordination across the RRW portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing short‑term grants and direct‑support streams for women peacebuilders.
• Support quality monitoring and reporting of RRW activities and outcomes.
• Contribute to knowledge‑management and documentation of best practices.
• Facilitate coordination with UN entities, NGOs, regional organisations and women‑led civil‑society groups.
• Help process and review an increasing number of applications from multiple regions and languages.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in programme coordination within an international development or UN context.
• Understanding of gender equality, women’s peace and security, and humanitarian action.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
