Program Producer / Board Operator

About the role

iHeartMedia Markets is hiring a Board Operator in Louisville, Kentucky. As a Board Operator, you keep broadcasts running smoothly and sounding great, ensuring every show, ad and moment reaches the audience clearly. The position is regular, full time and paid hourly.

Key responsibilities

• Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows
• Monitor on-air programming for quality, timing and compliance with FCC regulations
• Coordinate with talent, producers and traffic teams for smooth transitions and accurate commercial placement
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and escalate as needed
• Record, edit and load audio content for playback using automation systems
• Maintain logs and documentation for regulatory and internal compliance
• Support remote broadcasts and live events as needed

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or coursework a plus
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Required skills

• Familiarity with broadcast equipment and automation systems (e.g. NexGen, Adobe Audition)
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
